NEXT EXHIBITION 3 - 6 TH MAY 2025 AT BETCHWORTH VILLAGE HALL

The Dorking Group of Artists has two exhibitions per year. The spring exhibition is in Betchworth Village Hall, the autumn exhibition is at Denbies Vineyard. These popular exhibitions show paintings by local artists in a range of styles, and at affordable prices.

Our guest of honour for the autumn exhibition was portrait artist Jane Allison.

Prizes were donated by external sponsors Cassons Framing, Denbies Wine Estate, and Pullingers Art Shop.

Colin Twinn's painting ‘The Unseen Army’ and Laura Ritchie's 'The Piano' have both been accepted into The Royal Institute of Oil Painters Exhibition at the Mall Galleries. The exhibition runs from the 28th November until the 14th December.

Prize winners announced, below from our autumn exhibition at Denbies Wine Estate

The winner of the visitors' vote at the 2024 exhibition at Denbies was Jane Anderson-Wood with 'Dark Reflection, Highlands'.

Brian Ingram won the Denbies 1st prize for 'Roller at Castle Gardens'.

Colin Twinn won the 2nd Denbies prize for 'Riders at Forest Green'.

David Barnard won the Denbies 3rd prize for 'Cedars of Lebanon'.

Heather Moore won the Natasha Claridge award for 'View over a Potager at Nanteul-en-Vallee, Charente'.

Diana King won the award from Pullingers art shop with her painting 'Celebration'.

Fiona Hooper won the award from Cassons Framing with 'Spring is on the way'.

David Runnalls won the Barbara Johnson award with 'Sunset from Mudeford'.
